Resolution of Condolence for George Murray Maskell, MD

WHEREAS George Maskell passed away January 13, 2008 at age 73; and
WHEREAS he had been a faithful member of the Oregon Academy and the American Academy of Family Physicians for 32 years; and
WHEREAS Dr. Maskell graduated from Oregon State University and received his medical degree from the University of Oregon Medical School; and
WHEREAS Dr. Maskell spent 30 years in private practice and then worked for OHSU at the Richmond Clinic; and
WHEREAS he was an exemplary physician and inspiration to his colleagues; and will be sorely missed by his family, fellow physicians, friends and patients;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this resolution of condolence be placed before the AAFP Congress of Delegates and
FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be conveyed to Dr. Maskell's wife Mila Yumang, and children George E. Maskell, Leticia Maskell, Mary A. Montgomery and Laura Maskell.
